Rainy Mondays Make for Sleepy Stephy's.

Good Morning! How is everyone? Well, I'm in the mood for a movie and a nap today. It's yet another rainy day here in Minnesota. I feel like someone boarded me onto a first class flight to Seattle, with all the rain we've been having. But I can't complain, I love when it rains. Anywho, this was a long weekend. Friday I got my first pedicure of the season! It was absolutely wonderful, and very cute. I got a french manicure on my nails and toe nails. Tim went out with some of his friends so I decided to go out with Gerardo, (one of my very best friends from Junior High) to the Cherry Pit Bar in St. Paul. It was soooo boring, there were a whole bunch of old people there, so we decided to head over to Beer Belly's, which was alright. I kept running into so many people from Highschool, that I didn't really care to much to see, but it was fun. Gerardo and I can usually have fun no matter how boring everyone else may seem. I let him drink the whole night, and decided to be the driver instead. So after I dropped him off went to bed. Saturday I went to my cousin Jenna's graduation party. I can't tell you enough how proud I am of her. She is so kind, and light-hearted, and sincere. And she has really grown up into a beautiful woman who will do great things. So congrats to her. It was a very laid back fun bbq too. Then Sunday I worked, and went to church and did some laundry and read most of the next book that I'm on. I'm now reading "Danielle Steel's - Star" It is a very good book, and I went from chapter 5 last night to chapter 25. I would have kept going, but it was getting late. That's why I love Danielle Steel's books, you never want to put them down from the moment you start reading them, and she has a great way of writing, that make's you immediately picture and identify with the characters like no other author can. So highly recommend her books to all. "Accident," was the last one I read, and that one almost had me crying at work when I was reading it. Well, no big plans for me for the 4th of July. I am scheduled to work Friday from 6:00 - midnight, Saturday from 5:30 to midnight, and Sunday from 9:30 - 1:00 p.m. Sucks huh? But I hope all of your 4th of July's are better! Well take care! Love Steph

96 Degrees Today!!!

Okay, you would not believe the temperature outside today, when I woke up it was 80 degrees already. I turned my air on, I don't know why though I'll be at work all day and my other job all night, but it's way too hot outside. It is supposed to be 96 degrees today, and very humid. I woke up late today, and realized I have no summer clothes at all. Which is a huge pain in the butt when it is sooo hot outside. All my summer clothes I do have can't be worn to work, so it sucks. But oh well, we're almost half way through summer anyways. Nothing really new is happening right now. Just working like usual. I'm contemplating whether I should move back home again! My lease is up in August and I'm really sick of being broke. I haven't been able to shop in the longest time, well except for the audition, but I spent so much money on that and now I'm a little behind on everything else. I hate not being able to go to the mall and shop, and I haven't gotten a pedicure all season either! (diva, ha ha) So I'm considering moving back to mom and dads. I'd definitely move out again if I had someone to room with, but it's just way too expensive on your own, especially if you like newer style apartments. So oh well. Another move another day I guess. Just sucks that it will be the end of summer when I move back. My lease isn't really up until the end of August.

Hmmm, my birthday is August 11th! I will be 22 this year! Yeah! Tim and I went to Las Vegas for 2 weeks last year for my 21st birthday, but I think we're going to stay in town this year for it. I'd like to have a big party or something but who knows. Eric (our friend) has his birthday the same weekend as mine, so maybe we could celebrate together. Tim and I are also planning to go to NY in August from a Thursday to a Sunday as part of my One Year Anniversary present. We're going to stay at the "W" Hotel. It's supposed to be really really nice. I love NY. It's an absolutely amazing place to visit. I wish I could afford to live there because I would in a heartbeat. He's never been there so this will be really fun. He got to show me around Vegas, and I'll get to show him around NY! I'm glad I won't be paying rent in September, maybe I'll have some spending money for the trip. Just some quality time for the two of us will be refreshing. We're both so busy all the time. We always make time for each other, but a few days without work or phone calls or email will be a nice change of pace.

Well hope all is well with everyone! For those of you in Texas, I'd really like to make it down there too! I miss you guys a lot. Love you!

Ex-Klan Member sentenced to 20 years....

It's all over the news, "Ex-Klan Member Sentenced to 20 Years in prison at the age of 80."
I decided to look up the story of what this man did, and what he was on trial for. History always interested me, the Civil Rights Movement especially. It wasn't too long ago that innocent children, men and woman, white and black were being murdered fighting for equality. Sadly enough, today we still haven't fully gotten rid of ignorant minded people set in their thoughtless and unjust ways. Anyway, I was re-reading that famous speech from Martin Luther King Jr. and was reminded of how far this country has come, and how beautiful it is to see that the vision he spoke of in his speech is as beautiful today as he described it back then. So for those of you who don't remember, I rewrote it here...

...In spite of the difficulties of the moment, I still have a dream.
It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up
And live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these
truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of
Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of
Former slave owners will be able to sit down
Together at a table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of
Mississippi, a desert state, sweltering with the heat
Of injustice and oppression will be transformed into
An oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four children will one day
live in a nation where they will not be judged by the
color of their skin but by the content of their
character.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day the state of
Alabama... will be transformed into a situation
where little black boys and black girls will be able
to join hands with little white boys and white girls... I
have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be
exhalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low,
the rough places will be made plain, and the
crooked places will be made straight...
...From every mountainside, let freedom ring.
When we let freedom ring,...we will be able to speed up that day when all God's children...will
be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! Free at last!
Thank God Almighty, we're free at last!"
-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
August 28th, 1963

I think society has come a long way. I truly congragulate my generation as well, for opening up our eyes, even if our elders could not, so that we could see we are all God's children and we are all beautiful!
God Bless!
(Stephanie's serious moment for the day.)

Another week!....

Hi all! How are you? Well, I'm fine. Another day another dollar! ha ha. It's so nice out today, yesterday we had some pretty bad storms rolling through, but it's sunny and bright out today. Let's see, nothing new here. Looking for a new apartment, I have one in mind close to my current apartment that I really love, but still weighing out my options. I can't believe I will be going on my 4th apartment already! Geez! I pulled all the petals off of the beautiful flowers that my Timmy sent me, so I could dry them and save them, I had to lay them out on my counters so they wouldn't get moldy and so they would dry better, and they fill up all of my counter space! Can you believe that! Seriously, every piece of my counter is full of rose petals, and whats nice is the bright colored roses keep their color pretty well. I cleaned out my huge vase today and can't wait to put stuff it in, not sure what I'm going to do with it just yet though, maybe some colored glass stones or something. Well, talk to you later! Bye!

The Day After Our Anniversary....

What a day! Yesterday had to have been one of the best days ever! I've posted pictures below of my flowers that Timmy sent to my work for me....if you click on the pictures, you will see a better close-up. You know how I wrote that he might meet me for lunch...well, he didn't, he just said that so I wouldn't go out to lunch because he had lunch delivered to my desk for me. A diet pepsi, a caesar salad, chicken alfredo, and warm bread with oil! It was soooo good. I was so surprised when the delivery guy said my name and handed me this gourmet lunch. I was so happy and excited. Then I went home and viewed a new apartment in the same building that I already live in, that I've decided to move into when my lease is up in August. I'm currently on the bottom, ground level floor and would feel much safer in higher up in the building. My apartment I'm moving into has a super cute gazebo window that's so big I can sit in it. I love it! I'm very excited, and even more excited that I won't have to move my belongings very far. Then after that Tim came over to my house and handed me a very sweet card, and an envelope, I opened the envelope, and after a while I figured out that we are going to NEW YORK!!!! He's taking me to New York from a Thursday to Sunday anytime in August! I'm so excited! We're staying at the "W" Hotel, which is one of the nicest in Times Square. And close to Jacob the Jeweler, Timmy's favorite! I can't wait. We ran a couple errands, and then checked on the kitties at his moms house, then had pizza and went to bed. It was a great day. I'm very excited to see what the next year has in store for us. I'm very lucky to have found the love of my life so young. I'm going to cherish every moment with him, and love him forever! I only hope everyone can be as lucky and as blessed as we are. He truly is my angel, I haven't found his wings yet, but I know he's got them!

12 DOZEN FOR 12 MONTHS!!!

All I can say is "wow!" Today is mine and Tim's One Year Anniversary, and a man wheeled in a cart full of roses for me at my work this morning! There are 12 dozen, One hundred and forty-four roses for the twelve months that we have been together! I couldn't believe it. The colors are absolutely gorgeous too, lavender purple, lime-green, coral, peach, baby yellow, bright yellow and orange. And the vase is enormous! I feel like a princess. He always makes me feel like a princess. Everyone at my work was speechless. And it smells so delicious in here! I'm going to bring Tim's camera into work tomorrow so I can take a picture to post it on my website. There are so many I can't lift it to bring it home with me! Tim might be able to have lunch with me too today, so I'm really excited. I love this man. He's perfect. Hope all is well with everyone! Talk to you soon! Love Stephanie

Tomorrows Our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!

Hi everyone! How are you? Well, I'm fine. We had some pretty bad thunderstorms roll through St. Paul last night. I love thunderstorms though. Today it's still pretty humid and icky, but more sunny than it has been. Tim is going golfing today with some people from his work, so hopefully the weather holds out for him. He's going to be tired when he gets done playing 18 holes! It'll probably be pretty mucky too since we did get 3" of rain in less than an hour last night. Anywho, Tomorrow is our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! I'm so excited. I really can't believe it's already been a year! It went by so fast. But you know what they say, time flys when you're having fun! They were right about that one. Not sure what we're going to be doing, but knowing Timmy, he's got something special up his sleeve. He's forever surprising me, and I can never catch him! But you'll be hearing about it here. I got him the other day. I went to Edina and got us some of our favorite food from P.F. Changs, and brought it over to his house. He was excited because he was expecting Tacos (I'm not the best cook) but instead got our favorite.... Chinese Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Mongolian Beef and White Rice, and Berry Sauce topped Cheesecake! Yum! It was perfect. That's the only thing we order when we eat there. That whole tradition started when the two of us were in Vegas for my birthday. So I highly recommend P.F. Changs to everyone!

My cousin Frank in Texas is due to have a baby boy July 18th, 2005! He is going to name him Jacob Alexander Guzman. So my congrats to them! I wish I were there to see him. I really need to take a trip down to Texas soon. Even if I have to go by myself! But I'm broke now, so not anytime too soon! Well beside's all that I can't think of anything else too new. I had my nephew Caiden over a couple nights ago. He's so precious. He is going to be 3 in August, and he says the funniest things, he told me the other day..."Aunty Steppy, yo priddy." AAAAWWWWW. So cute! I gave him a bath and he said, "Steppy, don't wash my head ok. We do it layder, ok Steppy?" He doesn't like when the water goes in his face. Adorable huh! I'll get some pictures to post soon. Well gotta run! Love you all, and I encourage you to sign up with blogger.com so you can post comments on my page. XOXOXO

Audition Final......

Hello everyone! Good Morning! Well, I think I've emailed most of you, but if you don't already know, I didn't make the cut for the Making of the Band 3. But like I said in the beginning..."I trust in God, and in His plan for me. I know that whatever happens, it is because God has willed it that way, and I know He has something great in store for me." I have to write though, to tell you all Thank You! I wish there were more hours in the day, and that time wouldn't move so fast so I'd be able to spend more time with those that I love. But just hearing from you all this past month, so often, was so nice and comforting. We should all take more time out of our busy lives to check in on each other, take more time to listen to one another, to be there for one another, to at least know whats going on in the lives of our friends and family. Too often its, just for an announcement, or a sad moment that we reach out to those whom we love. I'm totally guilty of it too! ;-) This website makes it really easy for me to stop and think about everything going on, and it makes it easy for you to know as well. So I'm going to make sure I keep it updated. I usually write in here when I get to work in the morning.

Anywho. Thanks again for all your support. I love you all.
This morning I woke up late, and had to rush to get ready for work. I'm still pretty tired, but I'll survive. I made yummy cupcakes last night for Tim. And went to bed around 10:00. I woke up to severe storm warnings on the news this morning, and thats my kind of sleeping weather. I love thunderstorms, especially when I can hear the rain, and curl up with a big blanket and a movie. Thats the best. Too bad it's a Tuesday huh!

Tim and I will be celebrating our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY this month on the 15th. I can't believe it. One year already. It went to fast. It's funny how most people get to a year and can barely stand each other, but not us...Tim and I are best friends. We rarely ever have disagreements, and he is totally my strength in everything. He is number one, and I love him so much. I am so excited for what God has planned for our futures together. I know he has blessed us so much this past year. Tim is my little piece of heaven on earth. Truly. That is the best way to describe him. He is that special. And I am excited to spend my life with him. LUP.....c.i.k.

We went over to Tim's moms house the other night, and she has the *cutest* baby kittens. They are twin girls. You can only tell the difference between them by their tails. One has a little bit of a longer tail than the other. She is foster caring for the babys until the Animal Shelter can find a good home for them. Their names are Holly and Dolly. They must stay together though because they are twins. They are absolutely adorable. And so tiny. I hope she can find a good home for them.

Well, I'll try and post some more pics soon! Love you! Don't be strangers!

OH... my brother has a new blogger webpage too....go check it out.....
